Avyanna: An Artist’s Collective of 12 Women Celebrating Women’s Day at Bangalore International Centre

Avyanna: An Artist’s Collective of 12 Women Celebrating Women’s Day at Bangalore International Centre
Avyanna is an art exhibition that celebrates creativity, resilience, and empowerment in celebration of International Women’s Day.

As a participating artist, being part of Avyanna is deeply meaningful to me. This exhibition is not just a showcase of art—it is a collective voice of women expressing strength, resilience, and individuality through creativity.

Avyanna, presented in celebration of International Women’s Day, beautifully captures the spirit of what it means to be a woman today—powerful, evolving, and unapologetically authentic. Through my work, I aim to contribute to this narrative by sharing perspectives that are both personal and universal, rooted in emotion yet open to interpretation.

What makes this third edition especially inspiring is the coming together of 12 talented and emerging women artists, each bringing her own story, technique, and vision. There is something incredibly powerful about this shared space—where diverse expressions coexist, spark dialogue, and create a sense of solidarity.

I strongly believe that art has the ability to move people, challenge perspectives, and nurture empathy. Being part of an initiative where art also drives meaningful change makes the experience even more fulfilling. The auction of our works, alongside those of our curator, M G Doddamani, in support of the Unnati Foundation, adds a deeper purpose to our creative efforts. Contributing to a cause that empowers underprivileged youth through education and skill development reinforces the idea that art can extend beyond galleries and into real impact.

For me, Avyanna is a celebration—not only of artistic expression but of community, purpose, and the enduring strength of women. I am honored to be part of this journey.
